Boba, the Calmex brand is the only one I recognise from my childhood memories. Tried & tested by generations of abalone purchasers. Obviously in their opinion, the best. If it is the most expensive, supply & demand for it will certainly push the price sky hight. I have not bought any tinned abalone before as I am not convinced that they are worth the money in UK. In Wing Yip, the tins are locked up in the cupboard!
